Monika Joshi

Monika Joshi is a registered nurse with an experience in critical care, infectious diseases, and community health. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and has served in intensive care units at leading hospitals in Nepal, including Kathmandu Medical College, Seti Provincial Hospital, and Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital. Her clinical expertise includes patient assessment, critical care monitoring, ventilator management, emergency response, infection prevention, and multidisciplinary patient care. In addition to hospital practice, Monika has worked as a field researcher at the Nepal Health Research Council, contributing to nationwide public health research projects, including surveys on access to assistive technologies using the World Health Organization's Rapid Assistive Technology Assessment (rATA) tool. Her background in community health nursing has also involved health education, disease prevention, immunization programs, and outreach services for vulnerable populations. Monika has completed professional training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Primary Trauma Care (PTC), and critical care management of COVID-19. She is particularly interested in infectious diseases, critical care nursing, public health, and patient education.
