Ritika Pandey

Ritika Pandey is a microbiologist and health science researcher with a strong background in antimicrobial resistance, public health, and scientific writing. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from St. Xavier’s College, Kathmandu, where she conducted research on the antimicrobial susceptibility patterns of bacterial isolates from raw and frozen chicken meat in Kathmandu Valley. Her work highlights the growing concern of foodborne bacterial resistance and its implications for public health. Beyond laboratory research, Ritika has contributed to the health and education sectors through her role as a health counselor at Kashi Noble Academy, where she provided guidance on mental health, hygiene, and physical well-being to students. She has also worked as a junior health science researcher at Contentio Lab Pvt. Ltd., where she authored research articles, manuscripts, and essays on various health-related topics. An active member of scientific and leadership communities, Ritika has served as an executive member of St. Xavier’s College Alumni Committee, a former General Member of Global Peace Young Leader, and the Campus Director for the Hult Prize Foundation. With a passion for microbiology, data analysis, and community health, she aspires to bridge the gap between scientific research and public health initiatives.
