Dr. Frank O’Neill has spent time as a Clinical Researcher, Designated Civil Surgeon for the Department of Justice, Independent Medical Examiner, Department of Transportation Medical Examiner, Chiropractor, and Team Doctor for multiple universities. Dr. O’Neill has 14 years of experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. He has been awarded multiple teaching awards at the college, state, and national level, including the 2013 and 2020 Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award, the 2014 and 2019 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award, and the 2019 Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC) e11 Excellence in Online Instruction Award. Dr. O’Neill received his Doctor of Chiropractic, and a B.S. in Human Biology, from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2001. He also completed his Certified Online Instructor training from the Learning Resources Network (LERN) in 2017.
