The antigen and antibody reaction<\/a> in which the antigen-antibody complex formed is visible in the form of clumps is called agglutination<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It occurs on the surface of the cells or components involved as antigens are expressed on their surface. It occurs between insoluble antigens and soluble antibodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agglutination reaction is of two types: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
